Although TRANSITIONS are a part of diecast history throughout. The most recognized and refered to as Transitions, are the models produced when LESNEY went from REGULAR WHEELS to SUPERFAST WHEELS in late 1969 and into 1970. Is what makes these models refered to as such is the fact that Lesney used previously released Regular Wheels models to produce the new SUPER-FAST models. While some models were getting color changes, others were left as they had been. The #7 FORD REFUSE TRUCK with orange cab and chassis and gray bed was not changed in this Transition.
