1-100 series Collection Preview


In 1997 Mattel acquired the Matchbox brand and released the Matchbox Mattel Wheels in 1998. The new Matchbox series consist of mini series within the 1-75 series the way Mattel had done with the Hot Wheels brand. Then in 1999 Mattel increased the 1-75 series to the 1-100 series, however this decision was short lived and returned to the 1-75 in 2001. The number 89 from the 2000 line is THE CAMARO POLICE CAR which has appeared in nearly fourty variations since its introduction in 1994.
